Interesting view from Bill Gross of PIMCO. Run Turkey, Run- The Fed’s announcement of a renewed commitment to Quantitative Easing has been well telegraphed and the market’s reaction is likely to be subdued.
- We are in a “liquidity trap,” where interest rates or trillions in asset purchases may not stimulate borrowing or lending because consumer demand is just not there.
- The Fed’s announcement will likely signify the end of a great 30-year bull market in bonds and the necessity for bond managers and, yes, equity managers to adjust to a new environment.

Australia's central bank raises policy interest rate by quarter point. So much for all the pundits who said rates would remain the same

Australia's central bank raises policy interest rate by quarter point. And it took the commonwealth bank just over an hour to raise their rates by 0.45% - i guess the other majors will follow suit

Hi Golden That's exactly how I felt today, trying to 'get in'. Jen contacted me - saw a facebook entry for one of my daughters - so here I am again.
Good to see some old posters (Hmmm, actually young, but you know what i mean). Look forward to some visits.
Cheers
Capri

Hey c3po, on Top Gear last night, they said that you have no, er, gender-defining parts. Is that true ? they should stick to cars and engines and things that they know about - if the truth gets out their reputations will be shot
